Maximum safety, Minimum dollars |
Recruit, Train and Retain |

| By being a fiscal conservative who will ensure that our tax dollars are spent wisely, effectively and accountably. I will implement a Citizens Advisory Committee that will help oversee the financial operation of your Sheriff's Office. | In our growing county, we need to make sure that our sheriff's deputies have proper training. I want only the best to provide protection for our families. I also want to ensure that the deputies are courteous and professionals at all times. |

Bye, Bye Automated Phones |
Educating our Children |
|
| Too often in our modern lives we work our way through a maze of voicemail options in order to speak to a real person. When you call the Sheriff's Office, a "real" person will answer your call and most of all they will be courteous and willing to help you. Modifications have been made to the phone system to accommodate these changes and will be up and going following personnel training. |
As a young officer, I founded the D.A.R.E. program in Nassau County, which seeks to educate our children on the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Knowing how important these awareness programs are, I have implemented a dedicated section of this cyber sub-station to the education of our communities children and adults alike. I will continue to these types of involvement in community based programs. |

Keep our Seniors Safe <New> |
Property Check Program |
|
| The Nassau County Sheriff's Office values the senior citizens of this county and our sheriff wants to ensure their safety and well-being. We feel that our elderly are our most valuable citizens and deserve our extra attention. We are implementing a new program called "Elderly In-Home Safety Checks". The purpose of these checks are for a deputy to check on them for their and their families peace of mind. These checks will be conducted on a weekly basis. The deputy will also be able to notify the family in case of an emergency. This is strictly on a volunteer basis. We do not want to intrude on anyone that doesn't wish for us to be there. The deputies that handle the civil process duties will be conducting these checks. Anyone who would like to participate in this program can call Lt. Shelton Jones, supervisor of the Civil and Warrants Division at (904) 548-4036 or (904) 548-4038. |
Many of our residents need these services when they are absent from their properties for a period of time. I will ensure that your property is safe in Nassau County. Our growing economy depends on quality working relationships with our home and business owners. |
